Acronis Backup 12.5: Cannot log to backup console via user and password after "Sign in as current Windows user"

Symptoms

1. You use Interner Explorer 11

2. You log in to backup console via Sign in as current Windows user

3. After logging out, you attempt to log in to backup console via Enter user name and password

You receive an error:

User name or password is incorrect

Cause

Issue in the product, caused by the specifics of Internet Explorer 11 behavior

Solution

This issue has been fixed in Acronis Backup 12.5 Update 3.1 (Build 10330) please update the product to the latest build.

If the issue reproduces after installing the latest build, collect system information from the machine where the issue reproduces and from the machine with Acronis Management Server and contact Acronis Customer Central with a reference to this article.
